Request for cheap good DVD+R's

Well I just purchased the NEC DVD Recorder from newegg and now I need some DVD+R's. Somebody had posted a deal earlier but I think they were an off brand.. but does it make a big difference? So any deals out there for DVD+R's (perferably a decent brand if it does make a difference)? I'm also looking for some CD-R's if anyone has any deals for those too. Thanks in advance.

I normally dont buy into the TY media is the best, but at this price, you cant go wrong. Plus -R seems to have a little compatibility rate with stand alone dvd players.

Check your Best Buy. Last night, I found some 5-packs of 4 DVD+Rs and 1 DVD+RW with jewel cases for $1.99. YMMV as always.

Unless you have a specific reason for them, I'd go with -R instead. They play better in multiple systems, PS2, XBox, Dvd players... etc. Avoid TDK, they tend to not read in some of the PS2's i've tested them on.
