my 360(core) hasnt been reading discs too well lately and i just found out that my warranty was up. its 100 to fix, and i can get 100 for trading it in. and since the core price is now 200 id need to cough up 100 either way. anyone know of a deal on 360. i dont have a credit card so itd need to be at a B&M store. thanks

gamestop gives 80 for an xbox 360 and a wireless controller(and all cables) and a deal ending tomorow adds on another 20 dollars to traded in consoles

The $100 from EBGS would only be store credit. Unless your planniing on keeping the $100 aside to buy games from them, you'll have to buy your new one from them.

Considering the $20 bonus ends soon, you should just trade it in now and try to find a good deal within the next few weeks. After all, you'll be out a 360 for a while anyway if you send it in to get repaired. It's always better to get a new one than trying to have an older one repaired, especially if both options are the same price.
