Resident Evil 5 isn't playing nice with my TV

CAGiversary!
I use a Vizio VX20L as a monitor for my PC and up until now it's been fine for playing games on. For some reason though when I load RE5 in fullscreen the picture on the tv cuts out and goes to "no signal". I hooked my PC up to a regular monitor and it ran in fullscreen fine. While I had it running on the other monitor I switched it to windowed mode and went back to my TV and it ran while windowed. So for some reason my TV refuses to play it while in fullscreen, thoughts?

Nevermind, after much frustration and swearing I managed to get it to work. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time. Apparently I needed a new driver because my TV wasn't supported. It's always the easiest and most obvious answer.

I've never heard of needing a driver for a display to work. RE5 musta been doing a higher refresh rate until a driver told it to stop.

Yeah, there must have been something wrong with either the refresh or resolution. The program used to generate the video signal shouldn't make any difference to a driver.
