Resistance 2 online activity

I saw Resistance 2 at circuit city during clearance. I'm looking to build up my ps3 library, but I wasn't sure if it was worth picking up if the online community was diminished. So, how's the community for R2?

Don't worry, it's plenty strong. There's action in online Coop and in all modes of competitive play. Never a dead night for me.

I have never had a problem finding a game to join through their matchmaking and the cag nights are fun and crowded.

I play deathmatch every day, and have never waited more than a minute to get into a game.
