Returning merchandise at gamestop that came with gift card

Hello everyone, I purchased an Xbox 360 250gb model from gamestop recently and I got a $50 gift card from them as well that came with the purchase of that Xbox model. My question is if I wanted to return the system would I also have to give back the gift card as well?

they probably already took the gift card out of the purchase, so you'd probably get 250 back if you spent 300

they already charged you for the gift card on your receipt, and if they haven't then they will probably only give $250 for the xbox, or use the gift card along with a b2g1 free coupon

Besides, you can't return it if it's opened, anyway. Unless it's broken, but they only do an exchange.
