I bought a preorder from a guy on ebay. I thought the package came with a controller armor pack.

When I received the item, there were creases on the binding of the box, as well as the inner box. Everything was there but the controller armor.

Did they possibly take that out and then reseal it? Did I get ripped off? What should I do? I haven't left feedback yet.
 
the armor doesn't come in the package, it's separate...when i preordered from gamestop, they sent me the game in a bubble envelope and the game was all smashed up...but the armor was separate....so i bought another at gamestop b&m and they didn't give me the armor, so when i sent the other one back to gamestop.com, i kept the armor
 
Same thing happened to me when I bought this game B&M at ebgames. Side of the box had a bad crease in it so I had to return it as well.
 
I believe you can get the controller armor from Atlus if you pre-ordered and did not receive it. However, since you bought it off eBay I'm not sure if that counts as a pre-order. You would need to send them your receipt for the game if you had one. Check the Atlus message boards for more info.
 
this sounds like a case of the seller not knowing what was actully in the package. i dont see it as a major problem, if it is, contact them about it.
 
If you really want one try ebay. I got a couple off of ebay for a decent price. I have no plans to use it though, just want it to complete my collection.

You need to send them a receipt and SASE.
 
it was a pre-order bonus, try around at your local gamestore and see if they have any left, seems like a decent chance they will if you act fairly soon. If they give you any slack about not wanting to give it to you for free, reserve something else in exchange for the freebie. (and if you're really cheap or don't have anything else you want to reserve, hold on to your reciept and refund it later)

I'd agree with zion though, you're not missing much, it's not really an armor so much as a sticker-type skin for your controller. Could be cool for while you're playing it though.

no need to ebay or spend the stamp money for something you can get for free =P
