I wasn't impressed by the combat mechanics in the demo. The world was cool, and very detailed, though the female npc at the start looks odd and distorted.

I think that's why I was waiting for a price drop... I got the demo when it first came out and I couldn't play it because of some problem it had.

The combat mechanics confused me too for some reason. Just assume that if an enemy didn't just take a swipe at you, he's about to. Block more. I only played halfway through the demo because I decided I'd buy it eventually but I had the timing down before I stopped and could often perfect any melee creature.
