Rock Band 1 songs in RB2 - work through rental?

Hey all, can anyone confirm that the RB1 songs can be imported into RB2 (with the 5$ fee of course) from a rented disc? I'm thinking of picking up RB2 SE but want to know if I can get those songs for cheap. Thanks.

I can't confirm it first hand, but there is no reason for it not to.
Just remember: no Run to the Hills (thank god), Enter Sandman (meh) and Paranoid (again, thank god).

I don't much like 'classic' metal :)
