Romancing Saga heading to DS!!?

It's not Romancing Saga, it's just Saga 2, i.e. Final Fantasy Legend II. Never played those, hopefully it heads over to the US at some point.

Looks like DQIX-style cel shading.

Those look like polygons to me... that's definitely a 3D game, even mentions it in the article (at least, I'm assuming 3D in French means 3D in English).

Were the original Saga games good? Because all the PS1/2 Saga games sucked balls.

Anyway, looks sweet!! Who's developing it? Is it in-house Square-Enix or are they giving it to a third party (Arte Piazza, etc...)

Romancing Saga 3 was amazing

100% agreed, 1 and 3 were actually pretty darn good games, but but the second was a horrible freaking game.
 
Luck of the draw I guess, I somehow ended up only having/playing 2 (either was a gift or I chose wrong). Power went out once, and I was playing that game for longer than anyone should ever have to play it...oh well, maybe this will be better. Don't wanna be a negative Nancy

Snes ones were very beautiful but yes some of playstation era ones got abit creepy.
 
Same here. ;P Well, no, I take that back. I bought SaGa Frontier II because an old mom 'n pop video rental store was closing up shop and I saw "Squaresoft" on the front and said "For $20, why not?" Ended up LOVING the game (especially the music
