Roxio Game Capture Device Help

Hiya, I have been trying to get Roxio Game Capture to work on my Windows 8, but my Roxio never came with a serial key to use the software. I have tried to extract the driver data needed, but it gave a "failed to initialize the video capture plug-in this may be being used by another program or has been moved" message. What's worse, is Support isn't helping. Could someone help me please?

Well, if you don't have the right software, you should be able to just use Virtual Dub instead of the Roxio standard software. And you should be able to acquire the proper drivers for the hardware from the Roxio site.

Aside from that I can't really offer any advice. I don't use Windows 8, and I'm not planning to.
