S> Zelda DS Lite with 4 GBA Zelda games! (Great condition!)

Green Rupee

CAGiversary!
Feedback
10 (92%)
SOLD. NO MORE OFFERS.

EDIT:

Ok, I've received several offers for the set since I posted it here yesterday. I'm now including Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks along with the 4 GBA games. Everything goes for $160 shipped. Otherwise I'll be splitting the deal and negotiating with buyers on what they want.

If it's just one buyer, depending on how good their feedback is, I will accept 50% now and 50% after the item is received. If they have low feedback they'll have to pay it in full before I ship the item.

Feel free to PM me for any questions or concerns. Thanks!

ALSO INCLUDED NEW PICS BELOW!

They're all complete with the exception of Zelda II. I got it in a bundle pack with the GBA SP a few years ago so it never came in a box. I have the instruction manual it came with though.

Arakias, I would ship first but I kinda need the money as soon as I can get it, unless you're willing to pay extra for next day shipping or something. But I don't know how much that would be. I'd be more comfortable shipping after getting paid though.

do you have feedback anywhere/any other site? the only thing i can come up with is a half now / half later thing but that would also be via paypal where you would get hit with fees (in order for me to be protected as a buyer).
or curious what state you are in if pickup was considered.

My Two Rupees: If you want to sell this you'll need to ship first. This is too much money for any CAG to blindly hand over to a new user with no feedback. You can ship it Priority Mail for about $6 and it'll get there in 2-3 days.

It's not that we don't trust you...well, yeah...that's pretty much it.

Then I would be the one getting scammed by the "buyer" taking advantage of my lack of feedback and claiming they never received the items . In any case I've got some offers I'm considering. But I'm starting to see how eBay has such a monopoly on online selling now. Maybe I should have just sold it there after all instead of trying CAG. :whistle2:k

If you decide to ship first, I'd be more than glad to pay $10 more than what has been offered here. Otherwise, even w/my feedback being low as hell, I'd still not be comfortable sending payment first.

Having said all this, this is the deal of the century, imo, so let me know what you decide to do.
I will pay $130 + shipping for everything, including spirit tracks.
I told someone else I'd give them first dibs though, sorry. If I can't reach them before tomorrow, I'll take you up on it though.

Though you may already have a buyer, I'll buy all the GBA games off of you ;)
(You'll make more money splitting up the GBA games and the DS w/Spirit Tracks)

pm me if you decide to and we can work something out ;)
Hmm, apparently $130 for all games minus Spirit Tracks is a better deal than $130 w/Spirit Tracks.
But I have as much reason to assume you might scam me as you think I would scam you. You're the one whose playing the "low/no feedback" card here. And you're not paying first. I'll lose out on some money to assure I won't get scammed, just as you're willing to pay more to assure you aren't.

Also, you said $120 the first time not $130.

I am more interested in the DS, so if you trade/sell the GBA games- I am still interested in the DS + Phantom Hourglass + Spirit Tracks

Contrary to what you may think, 99.99% of the traders on CAG would never scam anybody. I can personally vouch for the fact that this includes Saetia. If you find someone who's willing to pay first, that's great, but there's no reason to get bent out of shape about people asking the question. To me, a half now half later approach seems good, but it's really between you and whoever you're selling to ultimately.

If you do decide to split it up, I'd be interested in Minish Cap, seeing as its the only Zelda I've never played.

Considering all the discussion going on in here about scams and "who sends first", you should consider throwing up some pics with your screen name in them. It would at least convince folks that you actually possess the items listed. Offering your phone number (through PM, of course) to potential buyers so the two of you could discuss the deal would also help a lot.

Good luck!

What is enough feedback for you to ship 1st? Should have researched what your selling before posting up a bundle with a price. That said, splitting it up is best and you should have less issues with who sends first sinceyou would have several smaller payments.

Good idea. I'm gonna do that.

LOL, you're making it very tempting by showing them in the box all ready to go! damn, wish I could afford this!! looks like a nice lot man.

I think these guys are giving you a hard time! I suggest getting some smaller trades going or buy some codes off people..I'm going to assume you're doing the right thing..

I assume so too, but it's not unreasonable to ask the questions when there's a new user with no feedback selling a big ticket item. The new photos go a long way.

Green Rupee, it might behoove you to set some prices as well since you're new, at least on the games if not on the system. I know the hope is always that you're going to get a bidding war going by asking for offers, but remember this is CAG, so you're more likely to get lowballed. :D If you set some prices that you think are reasonable, I think you'll have no problem selling this stuff. Check ebay and see what these things are going for, etc. Just some advice. :D

damn this for becoming a not simple transaction. but also thanks for your time and consideration. I sent you a PM but will be gone for next 6 hours or so but hope something works out.

I wish both parties the best in a deal....but maybe I'm cynical. I just have a bad feeling about this thread. No offense, but did you come here just to sell the item OP? I mean your screen name is Zelda related too. Even your screen name makes me feel uneasy.

By splitting up the lot, a scammer would be able to agree to deals with multiple people and then scam more money. It just has a bad feeling to it.

I'm sorry to rain on the thread. I do hope everything is on the up and up. Heck, I would love to have a Zelda DS too. It just has a bad vibe to it. I'd rather the the chance of offending a new CAGer than to not say anything and see a long timer scammed.

We are like a family here. If you are joining it OP on the up and up, welcome.....but don't come here and demand money before shipment on high end items. Earn the trust first...we all started out that way. If my rant is all for naught, forgive me. I just hate seeing fellow CAGers scammed. Good luck, all.

I was thinking the same thing with the username. Either he chose the username because he was intent to come to CAG just to sell these items, or he is a big fan of Zelda to name a profile as he did.

But then again, if he were a big fan of Zelda, then why would he be looking to get rid of this great stuff? Do we really have a CAG in training here?

These..these are the questions.

Woah, believe me. Those are not my intentions at all. I joined CAG to browse for video game deals and maybe trade games with people. I thought "Green Rupee" was just a very simple name and a good metaphor for looking for deals the way Link hunts for rupees in the grass. I didn't mean for it to come off the way you're perceiving it.

It's a fine metaphor. ;)

I think the larger point he was making is that traders here with higher feedback had to earn that trust in the community, and most of us did so by starting small. You can't blame people for having trepidations about sending $100+ to someone with no feedback and who just joined. We don't have the same level of protection here that one does on ebay, so people can understandably be cautious.

I know shipping first for sales might not seem palatable, but I think you should try and be a bit flexible. People's feedback aren't just numbers, it means they've been here for all that time and never scammed anyone. I think if you expressed a willingness to work something out, you'll find people here very honest and accommodating.

See my reply above if you're interested in my reason for joining CAG. And I'm selling these things because I have doubles of them. I collect Zelda stuff. These are the copies that I've played so it isn't as major of a loss as it would seem to you. I just happen to need a little extra money at the moment, and thought these items from my collection would sell fairly quick if I posted them.

I can see where you guys might get this idea though. I didn't mean it to come off so suspicious.

But I DID try to work things out. Several of you suggested you were willing to do a 50% now/later deal so I accepted your terms. And yeah, I know how feedback works and am really taking it into consideration.

That should be good enough for any one on here, in my opinion.

I'm pretty interested in Minish Cap myself.

To be honest, I'm a little jealous of your name.

Aside from that, we aren't trying to be mean, just cautious.

Well just want to say that this became too confusing of a trade once I had said I will purchase it (which was soon after my original post). While I am ok with whomever getting this set for $150 shipped, I feel people offering MORE just to get ahead of another CAG is pretty rude. I had a deal basically set, and someone comes along and messes it up. thanks whoever you are.
