Sainsburys to slash 360 and Wii prices tomorrow! (360 arcade for less than £100!!)

Bloody hell, with every deal I say "no excuse not to own a 360" and then a better one comes out!

A Wii for that is very tempting, considering Ninty's made it clear they've got no intentions of budging...
 
Can Confirm that this as happenend as i have been and got an Arcade today:lol::lol::lol: (Cost me £99.97 good times!!!) and they do have the 60gb sku for £139.97, so go get one if you have been delaying, i dont think we are going to see any sku's as cheap as this any time soon.
 
You may also be able to get an extra 10% off over at PC World. They should price match Sainsbury's and and give you an extra 10% off!
 
Can anyone confirm this? PC World's a fair way for me. Then again by the time I'm there I've probably spent the 10% on fuel.

I've read that it works, might want to give your nearest PC World a call to see if they do it before making the trip.
 
Yeah. And I'd need some sort of evidence that this deal is going down, possibly.

Oh yeah, Curry's price match with supermarkets too so if you live closer to one of those than a Sainsbury's, go there.
 
PCWorld will NOT match Sainsburys. I rang them as i was told that this was due to the way they purchase their stock, whatever that means.

I expect Curry's would be the same as they are the same company after all.

This is contradictory to what's said in other forums though (other websites), so i dont know what is going on.
 
Curry's WILL price match but find someone instore that's not the manager because they are not meant to pricematch Sainsburys.

I just got back from the store and told them that Sainsbury's was sold out BUT i have one on hold there for a few hours. The guy checked with someone and came back and said that it's fine and gave me a 60gb 360 for 133pounds.

Also picked up Bioshock for 10gbp, i've played it already but for that price it's a steal.
 
How strange. When I went and matched ASDA for Force Unleashed (ASDA's too far away) right next to the games was a poster saying "We will beat prices from Asda, Sainsbury's et al... in fact any other store!"

Or words to that effect. See if you can find the poster and nail 'em there.
