Well it sucks I already have the first five on BR. Now, I imagine this will turn into a wild debate on the quality of season six.
 
What happens if you order a season (say season 3) with season 6, having Prime they ship S3 immediately. Since the discount is applied at checkout, would they charge you full price for S3 and take the discount when they ship S6 or would they split the discount between the two? If it is the split, can't you just order say 3 + 6 and once 3 ships just cancel the preorder paying like $12.50 less for each season 1-5 right now?
 
Yep, does suck for those of us who already have seasons 1-5. I took advantage of the gold box deal back in december for 1-5. oh well.
 
I got the Dharma Kit for S5 and want a case for the shelf as well so I think I'll take the plunge on S6 and S5, thanks for the deal notification!

yeah that was an awesome deal. $115 (if I recall) for 1-5 on Blu w/ $60 MIR for upgrading from dvd. Which I than sold my season 1-5 dvd sets to a friend for $60 just to get her hooked on the show. I think I made out.
 
Not a bad deal. I need this since I couldn't watch it on TV because of work. So, maybe I'll take season 5 & 6

I'm hoping they have this kind of deal again for the entire collection. Somewhere around $150 would be nice (though it wouldn't hurt to go lower :cool:). And I have seasons 1 & 2 on DVD to get the rebate, assuming its still valid.
 
anyone figured out how this works yet? Do you get the 25 off of the current season one you buy and then pay full price for season 6 or is the discount split over the 2, or do you pay full price now for the current season and then get 25 off of season 6?

Just add the titles you want to your cart, go to checkout, and the price will be the sum of the two titles minus $25 /$20, depending on format. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not sure why your curious exactly how the discount applies.
 
Well obviously they aren't going to hold the 1-5 box set until august to send it. They will send that first and wait until august to send season 6. I wonder how it goes when they split that up, will the 25 come off at once, meaning that people could abuse that (not that I would, just want to know how much they are going to charge me now) by getting the boxset for like 10 bucks and then cancelling or if it comes off of season 6 so they ensure that you do not cancel after getting the other boxset for 25 bucks cheaper.

Same here. Heck, I imagine quite a few people here jumped on that deal. ;)
