Saw a TV commercial: $9.99 cds at Circuit City Dec 22-23 only

CAGiversary!
I saw a commercial on TV in which Circuit City was advertising $9.99 cds (reg price $13.99) and its only good for 2 days.

The only problem with Circuit City is that their stock is not alphabetized so its kinda sucks. Its takes a lot of time to search their racks for something specific.

They did this last year too, I remember getting some good deals...but I'd recommend getting there early. There's no organization there as it stands - imagine what it's like with a bunch of angry moms going through the discs.

That is good advice and all but you need the original to actually have something to burn and unfortunately no one I work with has even remotely the same taste in music (or would probably be willing to let me copy their CDs)... :(

Eh, you can always burn your hard drive. Literally or systematically.

lol silly wabbits use a file sharing program to find your tunes and use cdnow.com for the playlists. place songs in proper order rinse and repeat. flamers welcome :D

so i'm told kids these days do such things

True, I spent about 10 min trying to find Green Day's Amercian Idiot when I went there last week.

Not a bad deal, might stop there later to pick up that Jay-Z/Linkin Park mashup cd.
This is good today and tomorrow, not on Friday the 24th though. It's on the CC website.
Thanks for pointing that out for me. i was going by memory so I apologize if I got the dates wrong. A correction was made in the original post.

It's all good. I just didn't want anyone to just read the title and go in on Christmas Eve and get nothing. :p
