Hey guys, Im just currious if you think a box set will be released before christmas, the movie is going to be out on halloween. Thats 3 saws.

dont really know where this goes. but Im not wanting to buy the 2, then a box set be released with the 3rd. with a neat case or something.

Well considering the first 2 Saws both got double dipped (Saw 1 got 3 if I remember) I'd bet on a box set. I wouldn't bet on before christmas though.

I was hoping for that as well a couple of months ago, but since they announced Saw 4, I don't see it happening. I doubt it'd be out by Christmas anyways.

I thought it wasn't for sure yet, and that it depended on the box office numbers? But I suppose, considering the past 2 Saw movies, there's a safe bet that there'll be a fouth one considering how much money the first two made (100+ million a piece).

It's a good bet that there will be one sometime in the future, but not by christmas. The releases of the first two Saw movies have both seen Uncut versions within a year of regular editions, but I have not heard of any news of a bundle of uncuts or anything silmiliar. The movie companies gotta make $$ somehow, and if it means putting already released material in a case made out of a bloody saw, then it will happen sooner or later.

There's not going to be a boxset until Saw 3 comes out on DVD. Saw 2 Unrated DVD is coming out on October 24th however.

i would think there is not enough time from a late october release in theaters for a box set in Dec. The strategy will probably be release 3 individually, then later release a boxset.

The 3rd movie comes out this month. Christmas is 2 months away. I hope you're kidding when you said you hope a box set will be out by Christmas.

$16. 72 @ DDD

It says "special packaging", but I'm not seeing anything as special as the previous one this time around.

When SAW III comes out the SAW II Uncut Edition will be released. Don't expect to see a box set for a while. If your lucky, they might release a box set as soon as SAW III comes out on DVD. But they probably won't release a box set until long after SAW III has been released on DVD. Also , there's a chance of SAW 4 happening. (It will almost definetly, which I'm pissed about. I'm a HUGE Saw fan, but 4 Saw movies is pushing it)

The thing is, these movies cost nothing to make. If they start doing poorly at the box office, they'll just make them straight to DVD. I see this franchise going for a long time.

Which, if you ask me, is fine; I liked the second more than the first.

I also like the Saw movies, but 3 is enough. This doesnt need to turn out like the Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc...series. They eventualy went down hill. halloween after Halloween 5, Friday the 13th after Part 8, and Nightmare on Elm Street after Part 5 as well. And those are slasher series.Saw is not. It should end with 3.

And I know alot of you probally dont agree with when the series I listed fell apart.

Wow, thats asking a little much, the movie comes out in what....2 weeks? Anyways, I can not wait until 3 comes out, and I do plan on picking up the special edition saw 2.

I'm betting on a Saw trilogy boxset next year around xmas, but the big question is...will it be the uncut versions?

Anyone see this on sale anywhere... CC/BB/Target are all around $20 which is crazy....i know DDD has it for $16 shipped, if anyone sees a cheaper price let me know.
