Scrap Metal + Perfect Dark Contest
Restrictions: Must have 5 posts on that site.
Deadline: 4/1/2010 11:59 PM US EST.

It's possible to get 2 extra entries by either tweeting about the contest and/or becoming a fan of them on Facebook.

They're also having another contest which you should be eligible for as well if you have 5 posts so another incentive to give the reg. some consideration.

Scrap Metal was alright IMO but the HD PD remake is pretty awesome if you liked the original or want some epic N64 nostalgia.

5 post isn't that much, especially considering there are only 6 entries at the moment. What is making me hesitate bothering to enter is that it goes until April 10th. If you really want either of those games you'd probably break down and buy it before then.
 
By the time said contest ends, there will be too many entries and by then I would have already bought them myself if I wanted them.
 
yeah, i agree with a lot of the posters here.

while getting two games free is really nice, by April, i'm sure my chances won't be all that great.

I took what some of you said into consideration and that is a good point, I have changed the deadline to 4/1 for both this contest and the Toy Soldiers one, and will probably make it end much sooner if I start to see a lot more entries.

As for the post requirement, yes I'm aware that is a hassle however, this is not a new site and it would be kind of unfair to the existing members to have some 1 post'er win a game while they have been posting on the site for months now so I consider the 5 posts a reasonable thing.
 
I agree, nothing wrong with a post requirement. Giveaways are used to drive traffic, not just to giveaway. You might find you actually like the forums, I lurk there fairly frequently.
 
Entered, made 5 easy posts ("Hi, I'm new" thread, "This is where I'm from" thread, "Favorite XBLA game" thread, and some other junk), and became a Facebook fan. Woooot, good luck everyone!
 
If you attempted to get extra entries via Twitter/Facebook please look at this and make sure that your username is on there, I believe I got everyone but I might have missed some people who did not follow the directions of verifying: http://www.pwnem.com/t-scrap-metal-perfect-dark-xbla-contest?pid=40906#pid40906

Just ctrl+f your username on there and see if it's on the appropriate list - that only applies to the extra entries, if you were just going for the basic one, your name won't be on that list but will still be counted.

Even with a relatively small amount of entries, I'm still doubtful of my chances... We'll see tomorrow. Good luck to everyone who entered.
