Secret of Mana 2 Cart on Ebay..

This is odd. The word "evermore" is in the title of the auction. Secret of Evermore is not Secret of Mana 2. Maybe it's an SNES development cart with a Seiken Denetsu 3 translation ROM on it.

Evermore is just a keyword. It's just there to get more hits during searches. Another use of keywords would be "This game you are bidding on is Shaq-Fu, it is NOT Final Fantasy VII, Suikoden II, nor Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne".

I'm pretty sure using keywords that have nothing to do with the auction is an illegal practice and auctions can be pulled if they are reported using keywords.

Yeah, still though, it's odd to see one on ebay with a label and everything.

I'm surprised it hasn't been pulled down yet.

wow so this guy spent 180 bucks (for at least 3 flash SNES carts) and just got back 700 bucks at least? wow.. this guy has a perfect business model..

Wow. In that case I am going to make some Star Ocean 1 carts with English Translation and hoc em on ebay! Oh and look at his username "snescustomcarts". Lets you know his racquet right there.

This guy has a thing for putting Secret of Evermore in his auctions.

This one for Terranigma says Secret of Evermore is part of the Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma series.

Looks like he is stocking up for some more sales http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360028759104

Looks like here is where he got the black SNES game pak case for Secret of Mana 2. A $3 auction for Killer Instinct http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190140330510

He may actually hack the cart. Here is an auction where he won SEIKEN DENSETSU 3 (Secret of Mana 2)

Moron! Not you, him! I gave those games the name of the Enix Trilogy and that's what it will be known as! I have spread the word around and hopefully Enix will show these games the proper respect and give them this name. It's a name of tremendous respect for these classics.
p.s. Turbo is AWESOME!

Evermore has nothing to do with Enix. It was created by SquareUSA.

Looks like I save myself a lot of money by putting the fan translation J-RPG Super Famicom games on my CFW Slim PSP and just plugging it in to my T.V. If I recall a lot of these fan translations have disclaimers on them about using them for financial gain.

I saw a Japanese SD3 cart that had been flashed with the rom and translation, complete with box/manual/etc but (obviously) in English. I have to admit, as a complete set, it was kind of tempting.

I quickly lost interest, though, because the bids ended at something like $400.

that does sound kinda rad, minus the price tag, heh.

really, i wish square-enix would just hurry up and start porting more of their sfc rpgs to portable consoles instead of remaking already remade games.

Don't forget DQIV. We've never had a proper remake in the US, so I'm dying to get my hands on the DS one. Then V and VI are supposed to follow :)

God you guys are narcs , he clearly stated in his auction that he was selling a reproduction cart of the snes version. Sucks that we don't get the game stateside cause zomg we must follow teh rulezs! even for a defunct system! (points to atari home dev scene) clears throat
