Sega Saturn Questions & Games needed

sumsumma

CAGiversary!
I just got a sega saturn. The reason i got it is to primarily play classic 2D fighters.

I am looking for the following games

SF Alpha 1 & 2
X-Men Children of the Atom
X-Men v. Street fighter
Marvel Super Heros v. Streetfighter
SF The Movie (yes i know it sucks)

I have an American Sega Satrun, what do I have to do to play import games, as I know several on my list are not vailable as domestic games.

Also, can someone explain the RAM pack that I believe is needed to play some of the vs. games.

Thanks for your help guys. If people are looking to sell some of these games that would be great. I

Thanks

Matt

The RAM pack is exactly what you think: It's additional memory to load certain games.

This is usually the "go to" cart to cover import playing and the additional RAM:

If you don't mind spending about $60, you can pick up a japanese saturn to satisfy your cravings. That's what I did, and I don't regret it one bit. Of course, the AR is cheaper, but having a nice white saturn staring back up at you is very nice!

I had one of those years ago and I fried the motherboard trying to put in a mod lol.

hmm, i have street fighter the movie, alpha 1 and sf collection all for saturn. also, for those sf vs games, if you have a american saturn, i recommend adding a switch on the saturn to switch between USA/JAP at will. then being able to leave the 4mb cart plugged in. hmm, how much do modded saturn's go for nowadays? i might pick up another mod for the spare model 2 that i have.

Whoever said play-asia's import cart, I would like to second that as it's top notch. It's what I use.

I can vouch for Play Asia. The best importer I've ever dealt with. With close to 500 imported games, I give them highest marks. Never given me a problem. And if you order from them a lot, they'll do weird shit like just send you boxes full of toys, even if you don't make an order. I've been using them for years. Top notch, *Great* prices. Outstanding all-around.

I have Guardian Heroes for sale in great condition. Would give you command and conquer and 5 other saturn games for free if you buy Guardian Heroes.

I have a few Import titles in my tradelist if you want to take a lookie. None of the games you mentioned but some fighters.

I've got Marvel vs streetfighter with 4mb ram card and marvel super heroes and pocket fighter and vampire saviour and samurai shodown III. alll these games need the 4mb ram card.

Waku Waku 7 is a fine game, at least in my opinion, but there's a great difference between the Saturn version and the Neo-Geo version. It'll play just fine on the Saturn but expect to wait, and wait, and wait, and wait on load times even with the RAM cart. Oh, how my friends and I always had a great time with the final boss. Always good for a laugh!

I've got Vampire Savior and XMen vs SF with a 4mb RAM card that I was thinking of selling...also have Samurai Showdown Best Collection (3+4)...
