Select Games @ 7-Eleven 25% Off

Not sure about you, but it still boggles my mind that 7-Eleven is even in the video games sales business. That said, I was taking my eldest 2 sons for a Slurpee run when I saw that there was a big '25% off select games' behind the counter. This might be specific to this store, so YMMV. Most were last holiday season games that have plummeted in price in the last 6-9 months, but others have held their value. Didn't bother to get a price check (long line for Slurpees), but anyone looking for a deal on Fallout 3 is in luck.

Here is what I saw with the 25% off sticker:

Quantum of Solace
Quantum of Solace
WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009
WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009
Gears of War 2
Fallout 3
Fallout 3

The only game they had without a sticker was Halo Wars. The cashier said if the game didn't have a sticker, it wasn't marked down.

My local store is doing a raffle. They have a pot which states "Win Over 40 games!"; with a list of all the game. I paid a dollar, got a picket and placed it in the fairly vacant canister.

A week later the pot was empty, I inquired, and they are giving out ONE game at a time, emptying the pot afterward. What a rip-off.

I was in CVS on Monday and they had Guitar Hero III boxes for wii by the photo counter. Didn't check the prices, but was surprised they had real games, not just shovelware specials
