Depends on it's condition.

A well maintained and good working order 60GB PS3 can fetch upwards of $250 to $300 sometimes even more.

If it's in poor condition and not in working order or any playback problems... well.... take what you can get.

i would say its in good condition.. i recently fixed it from ylod about a month ago the only problem is that the fan is noticeably loud.

 Wow! How come the 60gb PS3 still fetches so much money? I'd be tempted to sell mine and get the 120gb if it's true hehe.

It's the only FULLY BC PS3 ever made. That's why people will pay a small fortune for it. It's like getting all three playstations in one machine.

Yeah but you can get a used ps2 and ps1 for next to nothing.

Even a used PS3 40 or 80gb around 200.

My guess is you can have all 3 systems used from 240-280.

Yes, but then you have three systems, and have to switch cords and all that jazz. For the infinitesimally small increase in spending, you could avoid the hassle, and get the more aesthetically pleasing of the systems.

Not to mention playing a PS1 or PS2 on an HDTV looks like crap. The PS3 upscales so it looks much better. I'm not sure why people don't understand this. "Just buy a PS2 for cheap!" Yeah, but it looks like GARBAGE on an HDTV! Unplayable in my opinion.
