Selling on Amazon Shipping Question

I am selling some things on Amazon, and I usually print off a shipping label as soon as something sells, then mail the package the next day before I mark as sent. It just occurred to me that I could print off a label, and then the buyer could cancel the order, leaving me with a worthless shipping label. Am I allowed to mark as sent as soon as I print off the label? Just wanted to make sure I wasn't violating Amazon's selling rules or anything.

I do . . . I use paypal shipping . . . and paypal emails me the DC#. So, I buy the label and then open the email, copy the DC# and paste it into the Confirm Shipment form. This also speeds up the process of getting the money into your account. Amazon doesn't put the money into your Payments Account until you confirm.

Also, buyers cannot cancel orders . . . they can email you and ask you to cancel.

Plus you have 48 hours to void a USPS label (at least with Paypal).

This is almost exactly what I was going to write. Thanks for saving me the time. :)
