anyone know where I can find a brand new copy of Shadow of Destiny for the PS2? It's pretty rare because in Ebay, they are like 3 copies right now in used condition though. Thanks

ps: Is this game worth 8 bucks for used condition?
 
it took me 3 hours to beat. i know alot of people on this site like this game but they are crazy. theyll tell you its revolutionary and crap like that but its not. its crap. buy yourself a ball and paddle or one of those magic eye posters and thank me later.

thanks but I prefer short game over long gameplay. That's just me. I know this game have no action or anything. The reason I want this game is for the strong story. I love story. Anywhere I can get this brand new for cheap?

So it sucks because it "only" takes 3 hours to beat?

As for the topic creator's question I've seen new copies at these sites BUT I can't personally vouch for their credibilty. $8 dollars used is a steal for this game though.

oh right cause thats what i said. i said "its crap because i beat it in under three hours". everyone saw me say that right? oh thats right. thats not what i said. i mentioned the length of the game,or rather the lack thereof, because he asked if it was worth 8 dollars. alot of gamers equate length with worth, unfortunately.
 
It's an excellent game if you don't mind the lack of action, the story is amazing. I paid like $30 for it used about 2 years ago, I thought it was worth every penny.

the bouncer sucks horribly...but as far as shadow of destiny goes...i got it on ebay a while back for 15 bucks new....i was lookin for it everywhere...kaybee toys had it...and still does...but....they want 50 for it out here....
 
bouncer is fun because i beat the whole game in...i believe it was 15 min...maybe it was nine...it was 7th grade so i dont quite remember...but I just loved beating it over and over...I could beat it like 10 times in an hour...amazing...
 
Yes. Very amazing. I just want it in my collection even though it's a suck game. The character is kinda cool though. For Shadow of Destiny, is it often list as NEW on ebay? There are couple copies on Ebay right now but all are used. I don't know if someone going to list a new one there soon.
 
Shadow of Destiny is awesome. Especially if you liked old adventure games. Less control, better story. And I loved the ending.
 
The game is kinda short if you only play to one ending...but if I recall there are like 4 or 5 endings and getting to each one pretty much means playing through the game each time so I'd say the gameplay ends up being about 3 hours times 4 or 5. However, like people are trying to point out I think...the style of the game isn't for everyone.

The game has 5 endings -- one of those 5 endings had 2 paths you can take.
And it has 2 extra endings in the extra chapter.

SOD is a great adventure game. Anybody who plays it once is getting ripped off, as there are numerous ways and paths to take -- all which lead to different endings. If you seen one ending, you' might see a cliffhanger there where some issue is not revolved. Go back and see play a different direction, you will see the issue resolved.

Finish the game as intended, with all the endings, and the game really is complete.

The most revolutionary thing about SOD is it's a non-linear adventure game.

BTW, I have it for PC. The PC version is easier to find than the console -- I've NEVER seen the PS2 console version in stores.
