The game has 5 endings -- one of those 5 endings had 2 paths you can take.
And it has 2 extra endings in the extra chapter.
SOD is a great adventure game. Anybody who plays it once is getting ripped off, as there are numerous ways and paths to take -- all which lead to different endings. If you seen one ending, you' might see a cliffhanger there where some issue is not revolved. Go back and see play a different direction, you will see the issue resolved.
Finish the game as intended, with all the endings, and the game really is complete.
The most revolutionary thing about SOD is it's a non-linear adventure game.
BTW, I have it for PC. The PC version is easier to find than the console -- I've NEVER seen the PS2 console version in stores.
