Has anyone experienced problems with orders from bestbuy.com. It's going on 2 weeks now and I have only received 2/11 DVDs that I ordered on Thanksgiving.

One of the orders was showing "en route" from Capital Heights, Maryland (I live near Baltimore) on 11/30 and 12/1, now it's saying it's in Richmond, California (WTF?) as of 12/5.

The other order is saying it was shipped on 11/24 but UPS has no record of the shipping number supplied by Best Buy. This of course is the largest order being sent.

Also, for some reason Best Buy thought it was a good idea to split my one order into three. I have no clue what that is all about but they did.

Right now, I want my orders cause I dropped over $80 on all these DVDs for X-Mas gifts as well as a few for my cousin's 21st B-Day this friday. I have sent an inquiry through Best Buy's site asking what is going on and how my first experience with ordering from them has been unpleasant.

Yeah I'm currently having some troubles too. I ordered 2 box sets on the same day at the same time, but it was split in to two orders. When I go and try to track them only 1 link works. WTF? So I can't even track the other box sets, way to go BB! :applause:

Does the other one say this:

"Tracking information unavailable at this time, please check back later for additional information."

I still don't get how a package can go from the state of delivery to across the country.

No, I get a 404 error. Then I tried using the tracking number on www.usps.com and www.ups.com and nada. It's also been 2 days since its shipped, so the tracking numbers should be up.

Sorry to say, but sometimes those items end up in the deliverer's collection of free stuff from work, if you know what I mean. I would call BB and complain about the time en route, especially if they are advertising a given length of time for delivery. Buy.com did when I asked them about my overdue order and it came pretty quickly.

I think package tracking is fuck ed up no matter where you buy from. I received an order from Amazon.com 4 days ago that still shows up as "carrier notified to pick up package". And I keep getting the "sorry tracking information is unavailable at the moment, check back again later" BS whenever I check on other orders. Circuit City has the same shit going on there too... more so if you get any kind of free shipping.....so I just have to hope some clown in Kansas doesn't get my stuff that I'm waiting on here in So.Calif.

If this is via USPS, then its USPS's fault, not BB/EB/Amazon/etc/etc. The number is just a delivery confirmation number that won't change until its usually in your hands.

what is going on with all of these problems...

i have been reading about peoples shipping problems. then my bro tells me that he is having problems with tiger direct ( they forgot something, then shipped the wrong thing...) now with me!!!

i have been following my package on ups.com. then come the delivery day. i check and to my surprise they say that they tried to deliver the package and that I HAD MOVED!!!! WTF@_@!!! so, today i look and they say that they delivered the package yesterday. so, i know i was here and there was no knock on the door. i call my apt front office and ask if i received a package. they said no... now i am pissed ! i called ups and raised alot sand. they tell me where they delivered the package to. i dont know where they got this address from. i have just been living in this state for a year now and only at this address.

i go pick up the package, the woman did not speak english. (i can speak alittle spanish). i get my package and "dog gone-it" THEY OPENED THE PACKAGE!!! WTF!!!

i know what happened... the driver was LAZY and did not make an attempt to deliver the package. he just took it back and said that there was no such address (online said that they said i moved).

if you know norcal, i live right of of interstate 80, in a large apt complex. the driver was LAZY. i have more packages coming in. i went to the ups center and RAISED CAIN!!! thing is, if it would have been someone else, or something of value to these other people, my stuff would have been stolen. plain and simple. just because of ups's lazyness...

sorry, but i just got back and i am still upset about the matter.

I ordered some stuff right before Thanksgiving and didn't get it until yesterday. It was sitting in a USPS distribution center for the better part of a week. The weird thing is it shipped via UPS and then gets transferred to USPS.

Other companies have partnered DHL and FedEx with USPS too. That's what makes things worse. It takes 2 to 3 times as long to go through the first carrier and then the USPS. The first part is usually OK, it's the latter that can be frustrating.

BestBuy sent out a questionaire about their new delivery method and I did not rate it highly. After UPS hands it off to the Post Office, it goes to no man's land and is untraceable until it gets to your door (hopefully).

Way more complicated than it needs to be.

Well I can't complain too much. It took long, but it got to me unharmed (surprising since it felt the holiday wrath of UPS and USPS package handlers) and I only paid a ~$1 for shipping.
