Shocktober Sales how do they work?

I'm new to the forums so I hope I put this in the right place, but introductions aside I am confused about the Shocktober Deals being held on Xbox Live marketplace. A link to what is is here. Now, it says "Leading up to Halloween, we've got two weeks full of special deals on games, add-ons, avatar gear, dashboard themes and other downloads from Xbox LIVE." and it has a list of games and avatar items. Now here's where I'm confused, on Xbox there are only two items on sale, Castlevania HD and Metro 2033, but neither of those items are in the list and all the other items in the list are in other rows like 'Ghoulish Gaming' and 'Witching Wear' and have their normal price. Will the items on the list go on sale later, or are they just there to advertise that they are Halloween type games?

tl;dr - There's a sale and the thing I want isn't on sale.
 
most of it is just advertising, only like 2 or 3 things are actually on sale. who knows if or what will go on sale in the weeks leading up to Halloween.
