Should I get Halo 3 Limited Edition for 39.99 (new)

A gamestop near me has one copy of Halo 3 LE for 39.99 new. I never purchased Halo 3 (was a late comer to the 360 scene). Think I should grab this?
 
well, i would see if i could get it cheaper unless you are a collector and really want the limited edition, i got my regular one for real cheap off of ebay, but its disc only, so i dunno its good for the multiplayer as ALOT of people still play it so.
 
careful. the LEs were notorious for their scratched discs due to the improper design of the packaging. good price but would recommend opening it in store to make sure they are fine before going home. when i got mine the store employee opened it and just swapped the disc out because just about all of them were messed up.
 
If you're concerned about long-term disc quality, I wouldn't- I had an opportunity to get an LE used the other day... the inside of that tin has a piece of paper lining with a flimsy-looking plastic hub glued to it. One of the hubs wasn't even centered, so there was about 1/8th inch of the glue exposed that would be touching the disc. It didn't look very good.(They didn't even have both discs for it, so regular for me. I'm only getting it becuase the BF wants to do online mulitplayer anyway.)
