I'm thinking about picking MGS 3 Snake Eater for EB, but I think the price may drop soon. Anyone have an educated guess/recommendation?
Thanks

I'd wait a few more months (at the most) and see if the price has dropped. Or, check your local pawn shops, etc. for a used copy.

It's just that I have a huge EB wad and it's burning a hole in my pocket.

If you want it cheap and have waited this long you might as well wait for a good deal. Dont pay 50 for it.

Wow, for a second there I thought you meant MGS3 Special Edition (you know, MGS3 SE). I didn't think that they had announced anything like that yet, but I think it's a possiblity that they might, considering that each of the first two MGS games had a sort of special edition follow-up. If you don't need MGS3 soon, I would definitely wait for a few months; you'll probably see a few good deals here and there and an eventual price drop, and they may announce some kind of MGS3: Substance type of thing, which you may want to wait for.

Oh, and just FYI, it's "imminent" and not "emanant." Grammar Nazi strikes again!

Yeah def wait, at least till E3. If they plan on releasing a Special Edition or something they will announce then, which will def lower the price.

I got it complete at a pawn shop last week for $10. Usually when games start appearing at pawn shops is when price drops happen in stores. Its a pretty reliable marker.

Just wait til it's $20. It's a very good game, better than MGS1 and MGS2 IMO... but worth $20 at the most, if you're a cheapass ;)
