Paul A. Kraft was arrested Tuesday night and charged with two counts of rape and one count of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor

Kraft, 31, is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center. His bond was set Wednesday at $750,000. Kraft faces up to 28 years in prison if convicted.

A tip from the Secret Service to the Regional Electronic and Computer Investigations Unit resulted in Kraft's arrest, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Undercover Secret Service agents said they made contact with Kraft in a sex site chat room.

They said Kraft told them they could watch him have sex with a 3-year-old old live on the Internet.

Secret Service and local authorities arrested Kraft at his home Tuesday night and executed a search warrant on his home and computer. Investigators are continuing to examine the computer.

RECI is a task force of sheriff's deputies and Cincinnati police officers.

I wish they'd elaborate. From the looks of it they were told a child was going to be raped online, and did nothing about until after the event.

You know Zo, I thought the exact same thing. The story didn't elaborate on that either and I couldn't find a follow up. You get the impression the guy actually did it, not just talked about it.

But how can that be when all those guys trying to sleep with "teeenage" girls get busted by undercover cops when they show up to meet them? They had to be able to bust him without actually seeing it.

Here's an equally disgusting article that hit the wires today. I wonder WTF is going on in the world sometimes.

Police: 17-Year-Old Found Starved In Cage, Wearing Diaper

Boy Found Weighing 49 Pounds

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The adoptive parents of a 17-year-old boy who weighed 49 pounds when found in a home where he was forced to wear a diaper and sleep in a locked, cage-like bed have been charged with child neglect, authorities said.

Child welfare workers called to Wilson and Brenda Sullivan's home Jan. 10 found the teen wearing a diaper and appearing developmentally delayed, a police report said. The boy was less than 4-foot-6 and was in the weight range of a 61/2-year-old, officials said.

Chief Steve Weintraub of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the parents told investigators that the boy was forced to sleep in a criblike cage with a wooden lid kept shut with chains and a lock because he had behavioral problems and was overeating at night. The crib was the size of a twin bed with locks that prevented its sides from being lowered.

The teen and two adopted 10-year-olds -- all with physical or mental disabilities -- were taken from the home and placed in protective custody. The Sullivans were charged with felony child neglect Tuesday, and each was being held on $200,003 bail.

Weintraub would not say if the younger children were abused, but the Department of Children & Families issued a statement saying the condition of the three children was a concern. The older boy, whose name wasn't released, has gained nearly 30 pounds and grown a half-inch in two months.

"We were disgusted and outraged by the condition of the children at that time," the statement said.

Wilson Sullivan's sister, Ordrianne Sullivan, moved to Jacksonville a week ago from Akron, Ohio, to help her brother and sister-in-law through what she called "blatantly wrong accusations."

"They're painting a picture of my family as monsters, and they're not, they truly are not," she said.

I want to know what that fucking idiot sister is going to say if they're found guilty. How can this be excused away? If your niece or nephew was found like this would you not blame the parents? Even if they didn't do it they were responsible for not stopping the people that did this to their kid.

Who's fault was it then? Sometimes you just want to beat some sense into people that try to reason and exucse this shit away.

I would guess that they just didn't have enough time to track down the name and address of the guy. They can do things amazingly fast, but going from AOL screenname (or Yahoo, or whatever) to an actual individual isn't something that can be done instantly. If he popped in and announced that it was going to happen in an hour or two, they simply wouldn't have enough time. Now, if he was publicizing this for a week or two, then there'd be a problem...
