I'm looking to get into the Silent Hill franchise after a friend of mine has sung it's praises and we seem to like similar things as far as music, movies and games go, so I'll most likely enjoy this. I saw Silent Hill 3 at Game Crazy for $12, but I'm having trouble finding the other installments of the game for a fairly reasonable price ($25+ for a used game that is several years old seems a bit much to me). I was wondering if anybody here knew where I might be able to find the games for a lower price than what half.com, amazon and gamestop are listing them at.
 
I got Silent Hill 2 ($9.99) and Silent Hill 3 ($12.99) from Game Crazy today, and ordered Silent Hill 4 from half.com. If anybody knows of a slightly more reasonable alternative to the price hikes found on half.com and Amazon for the original Silent Hill, please let me know.
 
Cheapest you might find is $40 for the first game. I hope Sony gets it on the PlayStation Network, but I doubt Konami would bother giving it up if they got an offer. Konami is the absolute worst publisher when it comes to keeping products available. Their greatest releases are all discontinued. All the Metal Gear games, the Castlevania GBA/DS games, all but the new PSP Silent Hill, etc.
 
Thanks for the reply. I was hoping for a release on the PS Network as well. I guess I'll bite the bullet and buy Silent Hill when I get around to finishing off the Resident Evil series, I doubt that with a minimum of a $40 price tag that SH is going to disappear any time soon.
 
Thank you guys for your help. I just scored Silent Hill black label for $30.50 shipped on eBay. That's not too bad given it's starting out at $40+ on eBay Buy It Now, half.com and Amazon.
