The Simpsons season 1-10 are $19.xx EACH at Costco. The shipments are out, but some stores are holding the sets until tomorrow's 'The Simpsons Movie' street date.

Savings of a couple bucks off the more recent seasons.

All I've seen so far is the Blu-Ray version and it's $26.xx. That's a buck cheaper than Amazon, and nearly $10 cheaper than Best Buy. Also, it seems to be the benchmark most BD's and HD-DVD's go for at Costco. Some come in even lower, and I've yet to see any go higher.

I'm guessing the DVD will clock in around $20.00, as Costco doesn't do loss leaders. Most stores undercut them at street, and then go up to MSRP. Costco stays at the same price, unless a manufacturers rebate lowers the price. On that note, Best Buy is selling it for $16.99, with Amazon at $15.99.
 
Man I just bought season 8(the maggie head) for 27 new at a local dvd store. Are these sets the head versions or just the box sets?
 
i think its the box sets....the Plastic heads seem to only come around when they are first released.

Also, does anyone else's costco put those tight plastic bands around their boxsets and dvds?
I hate this as the plastic bands tend to crush the outersleeves or the boxes themselves.....

nope, I haven't seen that one yet. All of their boxsets have them?

You can try -- but seeing as there's no ad, probably no. And I'm pretty sure BB doesn't match prices at Sams Club and Costco
 
If you buy the Simpsons Movie with any season set, you get $10 off. The movie is $18. So I ended up getting Season 10 and the movie for around $28.

most of the boxsets ive seen have them. The thing is, sometimes there are a couple that are missing them and Im like WTH? Why go through all the trouble to put those things on and then leave a couple without. I think this was put to prevent disc theft and package opening at my stores....
