"post your own cheap ass gaming deals" - it's pretty self explanatory.

what's silent hill? is it like that movie "notting hill"? i'm pretty sure a video game with hugh grant in it wouldn't be very good.

it might...im not sure...i called around and half said 21st, half said 22nd....id rather quote the later date instead of everyone running out too early on my behalf...let me know if you find out for sure though
 
I am a fan of the survival horror genre, but I don't quite know why. I avoid horror movies because they make my nightmares a lot worse, as do the games. The only series I'm familiar with is Resident Evil though, I own Silent Hill 2 but never played it, Clocktower got horrible reviews, but I am anxious to try Siren.

Agreed.
He could spend all day typing that response on all of your incorrectly placed posts. Or you could spend 5 seconds going to the correct board and not have to deal with this.

I can say I'm personally not looking forward to this game at all. I haven't seen any really positive press on it, and I just don't think it will go beyond the tried and true formula of the genre. And, unfortunately, the horror genre is one that, IMO, needs some serious revamping.
 
Whoa, I'm surprised, I thought alot of ppl would be excited about this game. I'd like to check this game out but I probably wouldn't buy it for more than $20.

It's like a normal hill, except it DOESN'T TALK AT ALL.
 
I'm excited about Siren as well, but given recent sales trends of similar mature titles (Primal, Clock Tower 3, Fatal Frame 2, etc.), I'm not expecting Siren to break any sales records. As a result, I'm also not going to rush out to buy it anytime soon because I'm pretty sure I'll see it on clearance somewhere before the year is out. I'm sure I'll love it once I actually play it, but it's not worth paying $20-$30 extra to me to have it on release day.
 
I've been following and waiting for this game for a while now. It came out last in the states. It looks great, and I'm a big Horror fan so I'm sure to pick it up. It's only 39.99 so it's not that bad of a price new. The run time with this game is about 12-15 hours so its an average length.
