Skull Candy Headphones

Droenixjpn

CAGiversary!
I'm thinking of picking up a pair of Skull Candy Headphones, and I'm just wondering, do they have subwoofers in them? I've heard that, but I really don't know if they do.

So I'm just looking to the CAG Community for some help on this.

Do NOT I repeat DO NOT for the love of god buy skullcandy. Their products sound like shit for the price you pay for them. I had a pair of lowriders, they broke in six months (and I was not doing anything extreme, the most abuse which wasnt any they got was put into a backpack which was to hold for class), I got a pair of koss's for the same price and sounded 2x better.

All you get with skullcandy is a paintjob.

Get a pair of Sony monitor headphones for $20. MDR-V150's are great. They have solid bass, as long as you take good care of them and don't stretch them around so they maintain a good seal against your ears.

I assume you're talking about cans and not buds.

Otherwise drop some dough and get some Sennheisers. Personally, I want to try out these Denon headphones to see how good they are.

I just bought a pair of philips in ear headphones from Walmart for $15 for a plane ride....they sound decent enough for me. I'm not a big audio junky or anything.

Found a company recently called WeAreTheSuperlativeConspiracy.

Cool name aside, they make a nice array of good looking headphones. Kind of expensive and the only place to get them retail that I know of right now is Urban Outfitters, which makes you sort of look like a hipster douche, but they are indeed quite stylish. They even got one set called the Alp Horn that have this neat modern futuristic look to 'em, square and flat against the head.

Not really much reason to mention them, but I just sorta wanted to anyway.

I've been using a pair of the Skull Candy earbuds for over a year and I think they are great. Picked them up for $9.99 at FYE and I think they were a great buy for the price. Can't speak for their other models though.

Get these. Best sound quality I've ever heard, and for a GREAT price. Some people find them uncomfortable, though.

I have one of Skullcandy's ink'd in-ear canal earbuds. For $15, they sound a heck of a lot better than some of the other cheap ones (for example, unlike those Gummy ones, these actually have some real bass).

And, since they go in your ear canal, they're great for blocking out the noise on an airplane, etc. ... except for when my boss has to come over to my desk because I didn't hear my phone ring :p

My brother has those headphones. They're pretty decent. He upgraded to some Bose (lol, here come the "Blows" jokes) noise canceling. Those are real nice but the cord is totally ghetto for the price they ask. I'd rather have headphone cords be those dual wire ones or have a little shielding on them. The ones on those Bose headphones feels like it could be ripped right off with little effort. Snag it on a desk corner while walking away and that's all she wrote.
