Skyrim Collector's Edition Game Guide

I was thinking about purchasing this game guide from Amazon because it is just over $25 right now. Do you think it is worth getting or should I get wait til a Wiki guide is available online? I also looked at the author's (David Hodgson) other guides and they seemed to get good reviews, but I don't know how helpful they are. Skyrim is a day one purchase for me, but I would like to have some direction of where to go.

I would recommend purchasing it. You'll lock it in at the price it is now. If you end up not wanting to keep it, you can either eat the return shipping cost or hold onto it hoping it becomes hard to find and sell it then.

You need to ask yourself, are you a big fan of Elder Scrolls? Are you really excited for Skyrim? Do you often get CE guides? Do you use strategy guides? I didn't have a guide for Oblivion, but I like having maps and item lists for RPGs.

There probably will be a wiki but I imagine it will take awhile for information to be added to it, unless there are people who will instantly download it as soon as it is out, play it, and update the wiki as they do it.
