Is it worth looking for deals on used copies of Skyrim for the PC?

I've never been entirely clear how the DRM - Steamworks integration works on it. Since it didn't ship with steamworks, but got it in a patch I think I know that it doesn't ship with a code...

So how does it work? Or more to the point, should I avoid buying used copies out of fear that it'll have "used up" it's code?

AFAIK the game does ship with a CD Key, which is then used with Steam à la Black Ops, and since it is now mandatory for patches and the mod browser, I'd say chances are very high the code is used up.

Replace "chances are very high the code is used up" with "the code is definitely used up" and you're dead on.

The code is gone. Buying a used copy will only net you a disc and disappointment.
