Yeah, lookin' for a deal on Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturnes strategy guide. I tried playing it without one, and died very early on, so I've had to put it back up. Me thinks that I'm gonna need the guide to get anywhere really...

ebgames.com

Use coupon code HB30

add $0.99 used game to cart and use CAG15 and SAVER free shipping.

Should work, but have not tried it.

Unfortunately you can't combine HB30 with CAG15 or SAVER.

Looking at the size of that sucker, I almost hate to say it, but it's almost worth spending full price on. Anytime a strategy guide is around 400 pages, I gotta go "Woah"...

I did and I don't regret it at all. The guide is very high quality and is definetly worth the $20.

Got it, used HB20, but it ended up being about the same price that it would have been instore (assuming we had it around here and I somehow missed it).

19.32 total, not too happy about that... grr...
If you're serious about getting it, just go to
http://www.doublejumpbooks.com
and place an order, yo. They make high quality guides, that's for sure.
Great guides! Only one suggestion: For it's size DubleJump has to make them in a hard cover!

Yeah, I got the guide with the game. Ordered it online as I didn't see it in stores.

But the guide, though high in quality, is pretty hard to keep open. The novel like layout with the 400+ thick pages makes it want to close on itself all the time.

I am not impressed with the guide at all. It's basically just maps and itty bitty sentences of what to (kind of) do and mass amounts of (for the most part) useless information about all kinds of things... No actual help as to finding the things, for those of us who get lost easy. So I guess I'm gonna end up using it along with one on GameFAQs ... :(

I'm rather surprised. I would have expected more for a 400 page book. I noticed too that there were a lot of maps when I was flipping through it at my local EB. I thought I was just in the map section. Guess I was wrong.

I agree. The guide hasn't helped me much and it is kind of annoying trying to keep the book open. I've had more help on gamefaqs...

No the guide is great. But you need access several different parts at the same time. Its not linear in that ok you start here and go there. One section is for the walk through, another for the maps, another for demons, another for abilities and so forth. I just used bookmarks and jumped between sections as needed and it worked great.
