Yesterday I stopped by EB and saw a box set for the TV show My So Called Life. I'd never seen it, but I heard very good things about it. It was $35 (minus the 10% preplayed discount card), but I figured I should check eBay and see if I could get it cheaper. Err...how about starting at $55+, decent deals at $70+, and new ones hovering around $130? Yeah... So I stopped back in today and just picked it up from there for $33 and change. I guess even if i wind up not liking it, there's a really strong market. The outer box isn't in totally mint condition, but there's nothing glaringly broken about it. Unfortunately it's one of those cheap outer boxes made of thin cardboard, so there's a bit of edge wear on the flap that makes up the solid back of the box, but still good enough. I don't think it was in the store long enough to get crushed by all the other boxes.
