anybody getting amped for the winter season?
snowboarding is almost here

i have a buncha new gear to ride this year, my brothers and all my close friends got passes and this will be my 6 year old sons first real season of snowboarding.
its gonna be a great year.
 
No, I live in MA and I will be freezing my ass off here at college and trying to run track practice. But I do love the winter anyway.
 
my winter season is slightly different. i drive past the beach going to work everyday, i get off early and drive 2 hours to the mountain and go riding.
much preferred to east coast winter death =)
 
I love the snow. Last year we had a small blizzard and they actually cancelled classes for two days. Luckily the bars and liquor stores were open......

i always figured school staff were paid during snow days.
i remember the school year was always made a few weeks longer to allow for snow days and if we had a weak winter the year ended sooner than scheduled.
 
I'm deffinitly not looking forward to the snow. In the past month I bought my first bike since middle school and have been driving it everywhere.

I used to have to buy a tank a gas once a week and now only buy gas once every three weeks due to how much i ride my bike instead.

I can deal with the cold, but once it starts getting snowy and icy....i'm out.
