Haha this went great back in june...but this time I just landed myself 50 authentic microsoft xbox 360 controllers...none of that mad katz stuff. Let the bidding begin once more lol. Im so lucky to keep being at the right place at the right time.


bought it on ebay...keeping one for myself, have 31 left to sale, was this a good find by me?? anyone want one? they retail for 40, theyre brand new.

Hi, the cables are in, and theres only 30 of them, not 32. They all in the green microsoft bags and taped closed, and they all look like theyre new. They have the Microsoft label like the HD cable. I randomly opened up two of them and they both tested fine. If your interested, I can open up yours to test it too or you can get it unopened. I'm planning on selling them for $11 + shipping (paypal). You can calculate your own shipping method (im shipping from 48089) and get back to me on it, or I can ship it out by priority mail for 4.05 and itll get to you in 2-3 days (wednesday/thursday)

EDIT:pictures will be up later with the cables and my 20.1 lcd. I'd have to say though the 360 looks the same as my x1900xtx, if only 1680x1050 was an option

EDIT:::Alright...I dunno what to take pictures of, so i just took a couple pictures of the cables and the lcd with some games running. I dont know how to work the camera so that it focuses well or whatnot and i had to turn the flash off to reduce glare, but the quality is better than whats shown in the pictures.

I think I found the one you won. I'd be concerned about this auction for several reasons....

1) Their feedback sucks. Sure, it looks good, just over 147,800, but only 89% are positive. They have over 20,000 negative feedback. Wow! So far, only 750 negative this month, so maybe things are getting better for them. :roll:

2) The pictures look suspect and they don't guarantee new items. Only showing one is a bad thing. The listing clearly state that they don't guarantee new items, complete items or ones in good condition. What that means is you could get 1 HD VGA cable and a bunch of wires wrapped in plastic.

3) They clearly state all items sold "as-is"....always a bad sign.

4) Your title says "genuine", yet the listing that I found doesn't use that word anywhere.

5) Their title says 32 pcs, but the description says "you are bidding on what is in the picture". I see one VGA cable, 5 wrapped cables that may or may not be VGA and that's it. Where are the rest?

Hopefully, you get all of your stuff and its as promised....but I'd guess that you will get mostly bootleg crap that may or may not work. You said it yourself, they sell for $40 and you got 32 for $50.

bargainland-liquidation is famous on eBay for selling crap. Every so often you can get something good from them, but this one doesn't look so hot.

Recent poor feedback:

missing piece,very important which was shown in pic selling

beautiful item for the price, but the auction said it would be amber , not green

Never answered my emails, missing parts, luckily wasn't a expensive or difficult

seller never sent item,didn't answer emails.I had to go to pay pal to get refund


Then again, you may have lucked into a really great deal. Pls update.
 
If they arrive as promise I'd probably give you $10 plus shipping for one. I'm likely to get a 30-something inch 720p LCD monitor if I can also use it as a PC monitor.

Those guys are no good... But I love that little platypus with the tear in his eye.

I don't recall VGA cables ever being sold or packaged that way. Maybe those are refurbs, returns, or meant for developers? I would thoroughly inspect and test those cables as soon as they arrive.

well if only 10 of the 32 works ill still be happy as i almost shelled out 17 bucks to get one from someone else, i plan on testing every single one of them as soon as they come in, those green microsoft bags look promising, ill update when they come in. if they all fail...very slim chance, then eh its only 55 bucks i lose including shipping, im sure i can sell 32 broken xbox360 vga cables for 20+ dollars

lol...howd u find it...thats weird, it was weird cuz there was about 5 hours left and i had to go so i just threw in a bid of 100...but when i came back i saw that i had won and that no one else bidded in the last 5 hours. oh and i also scored a direct tv satellite dish for 11 shipped...and i dont even have direct tv.

You'll probably get the cables no problem...Whether or not they work is a different story.

I'm also interested on picking up a set in the event that you do get them and they are working.
 
Op, good luck to you for getting working cables! Everytime I bought some crap on Ebay i always pray it's legit. Most recent purchase for me is Rumble roses XX and it took about 2 weeks to get shipped. I thought I had to get refund from paypal AGAIN!

Luckly it arrived in one piece, brand new sealed for $36 + $6 shipping.
 
I'm in for one if they work and are legit (as well as cheap).. looks like Japanese on the green bags (which is what MS has been shipping replacement parts/controllers in, minus the Japanese text on the bags). Hell, you may have just stumbled on the "lost shipment of VGA cables meant for Japan, but nobody bought the damned console" or something. Maybe it's another fluke.. who knows, if it works out for you man, congrats!

I did a search of eBay completed items and looked for items "Xbox 360 VGA". Sorted by end date and it was the third item on the list. It was also the only one close to the price that you mentioned.

I really do hope you get your stuff. If you do plan on selling for $10, I'd take one too.

Hell, if half those work and OP sells 15 (keeps one for himself) then he'd easily make a killing at around $120 after shipping-- they can't cost that much to ship since they'll weight next to nothing and he buys a bulk of bubble mailers.

It's amazing how the OP never said he would sell them for $10, yet someone offers him $10 for a set and now everyone is jumping on the $10 bandwagon. Half this thread is people saying "I want one for $10".

Especially considering the first offer was for $10 + shipping...I don't know how people have the audacity to think that $10 shipped is a fair price.

Hey, I'm a trendsetter. At least my offer was $10 plus shipping. Assuming they all test good, clearing a $400+ profit is pretty good days work without much of the work part.

;) $10+shipping is fair. But damn $10 with shipping included is LOW. I have these cables and they aren't exactly light.
