Buy 2 UMD8s. That's what I did. One for games and one for movies.
I found a no-name PSP case at Best Buy that I really love. It says "Game Stuff" on the front. Queer, I know.
Anyway, it has front and rear zippered compartments. The front one holds the PSP, 10-12 UMDs, and 1 extra battery. The rear compartment has two smaller zipper pockets, which can hold more UMDs, batteries, headphones, screen wipers, whatever. Currently my case is holding 22 UMDs, an extra battery, headphones, a screen cleaner, and some random seashells my wife gave me.

I keep my UMDs in the case. When I play a game, I take it out. After I'm done, I put it away. I never left a UMD in my PSP before, when I'm not playing it.
I was using the original case but that there is a decent number of multigame collections, I started feeling a need. And by sheer coincidence GameRush was blowing out some little 3-UMD pocket pack hard cases for 99 cents each. Pretty hard to go wrong there. Bought all the ones I spotted at GameRush stores, which was only 3.
Another highly recommended accessory from the GR sale: combination USB data cable and battery charger for $2.50. At that price I now have one permanently attached to my PC and another to travel with the PSP, plus a few more for gifts or whatever.

I picked up the $25 PSP case from Gamestop used for $14.99. It is supposed to hold the PSP + PSU +6? games, but I put the UMD8 in there because of my Pocket.
