EDIT: Time's up, suckas!

I decided not to go for cheap points, and I'm down to the wire. 215 to go by the end of Sunday.

Anyone else still not done yet? Do you plan to finish?
I didn't go for cheap points either, finished up about a week ago I think just from normal play. =)
Three words: Guitar Hero. .... twins.

I'm lucky I get in any gaming at all. Popped in GRAW and was going to get the points that way until I saw all the MP stuff. Decided on Lego SW II. If I get down to the wire for some reason, I'll throw back in FN03 to finish up. Just kicked Holyfield's old ass yesterday. ;)

I will need to get a cheapy points game if I want to make it. I made almost a 1000 point improvement before I noticed you actually had to "Take the challenge" or whatever. I had only joined the stupid site but didn't actually start the challenge.

Man, I totally forgot. I have no idea how far away I am away from getting something. Can someone provide a link so I can check?

I'm waiting on the new ones coming out April 22nd. I used NHL 2K7, and Tomb Raider, and a few others to get the achievements. I spent two days getting the 1500, and then got a copy of Fusion Frenzy which should ship out to me sometime this month.

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to play lately.
Just click on the rewards at the site, and click I'm finished then it'll tell you how many more you have to go.

New ones right away? Now I'm really glad I did it the way I did. Should probably ditch SWII until I get that last bit of points, though.

Rainbox Six, Double Agent or Crackdown?

Rainbox Six, Double Agent or Crackdown?
Double Agent should net you 520+ points in just the single player campaign.

I didn't know they were starting another one so soon. That's good.

Guess I'll stop playing King Kong until the next one starts.

Did they announce a new one? I would have figured they may have wanted to wait as to not completely screw up another challenge. Either way, I've got a copy of Eragon and Superman Returns waiting for me.

I did the exact same thing... I was at the 1200 point mark before I realized.

I've never gone for the easy points but decided to for this one to win a prize. I was actually the 6th person to complete it. People were still trying to sign up on that broke ass site when I posted that I was done. lol

If I didn't care about the prizes I would have finished anyway. The day before the contest I sat at 13,345 and today I'm at 17,496 ~ a 4,151 jump.

I wasn't concerned about getting quick points, as I didn't have the option to win MS points or Fusion Frenzy or anything. Finished mine back in mid-march mostly because of NBA Street, Contra is definitely worth it for the time it took to sign up.

I need 100 more points. Got most of mine from playing through Prey & finishing off Condemned (I had played just over half of it last year & stopped). I guess some might call those "cheap points", but those are both games I had been meaning to play/finish for a while now.

Finishing up playing some TR now - another game I've been wanting to play through.

I should have finished a while back, but I hardly ever hook the 360 up to the internet in my new apartment. Once I saw that I missed out on fusion frenzy, I saw no need to hurry up and update my profile online.

I'll get around to it sometime before the cutoff.

I'm 675 pts away from being done . Mostly because I went to the site and signed in but didn't know to start my challenge .
As a result of this ignorance all of my Crackdown & worms achievements "went to waste" .
If I have to rent TMNT , I just might .

I did that as well meaning the 700 points I got from Crackdown didn't count.

Right now I'm 45 points away so 2 more levels of the GRAW single player should be good.

I didn't even bother for the first week or so and I had already gotten a few hundred points. Now I still need like 350 points to finish but if I don't, oh well.
well damn... i guess i didn't "take the challenge" even though i signed up. i gained about 3,000 achievement points too.
 Join the gang! Oh well! I hope the next one is something good. As if it wasn't a mess enough when it first started... I go and not read everything...
I finished in less than three hours and am number 6. I don't see you. Here is the order of completion:

http://www.mygamercard.net/rewardspy.php
That's not the true order of completion, it has my roommate completing before me even though I finished about 7 hours before him, I didn't even make the list till I had around 1700 points.
I didn't go for cheap points either, finished up about a week ago I think just from normal play. =)
In the next couple of days I may try to go for level 2 since I'm pretty close, but I completed the challenge fairly easily through TMNT the arcade game, finishing marvel ultimate alliance, some crackdown, most of NBA Street Homecourt etc.

I got my points from Crackdown and Kameo. Contra is kinda cool, but the VC version on the Wii of part 3 blows it out of the water.

Done. Finishing the story on Tomb Raider and Act 1 on Gears did it for me.

On another note, I finally got around to playing Gears (again). Much better this time around.

What games did you play that you can get 1500 points in 3 hours!?

I got mine legit since all the copies of Fusion Frenzy were gone when I started but I fully intend to go the complete crap way if they have another contest and offer a free game. Luckily I have the entire crap game library waiting to be played still + free rental coupons. :D

Edit: Now that I think about you probably played the 2006 sports games. Most of those pretty much give you 1000 points for turning them on.... Didn't consider them since i'm a sports game freak and already have almost all of those points from normal play.

I got mine, probably got 800+ points with NBA Street Homecourt. The rest just came with normal play.....

I got my free Contra and 100 points (or whatever it was)

yep FNRND3 nets you an easy 1000 pts. i know madden does the same.

The hell you say. I was damn near...wait, I did throw my controller a couple of times.

lol, thats not the order of completion, if you notice, it started counting people the day after the contest started, not the day of. That site didnt have me finished until I had already accumulated almost 5,000 gamerscore since the contest started. You see the guy named WtHockey in 7th place on that list? Hes on my friends list, I finshed two and a half hours before him.

I was one of the very few to actually sign up right when the site went live. Played NBA 2k6 and MLB 2k6, got them done in 30 minutes, took me another 15-30 minutes to log back in and tell the system I completed the challenge.

I can assure you, I was one of the first done.
The hell you say. I was damn near...wait, I did throw my controller a couple of times.
hahaha i never threw my controller once haha...its all about the judge jab

Not quite sure when I finished but it took me about a week.

Hexic HD – Marathon Mogul – 20 pts
Gears of War – Is It a Spider – 30 pts
Gears of War – The Money Shot – 20 pts
Gears of War – It’s a Massacre – 10 pts
NHL 2K6 –100% – 1000 pts
Call of Duty 2 – Veteran of the Winter War – 60 pts
Call of Duty 2 – Veteran of Stalingrad '42 – 60 pts
Call of Duty 2 – Veteran of Fortress Stalingrad – 60 pts
Call of Duty 2 – Veteran of El Alamein – 60 pts
Call of Duty 2 – Veteran of The Tank Squadrons – 60 pts
Call of Duty 2 – Veteran of Rommel's Last Stand – 60 pts
Call of Duty 2 – Veteran of D-Day – 60 pts

Fight Night was really easy if you used just that super punch vs the computer. I have a friend who hates all sports except baseball but he rented all the easy point games and just cheesed through them all. I'm pretty sure with Madden and NBA Live you never even had to actually play the game! Just pop it in and sim..at least the 30 years achievement was supposed to take a couple hours.

If they do it again I guess i'll rent TMNT since at least that game will be somewhat fun + cheese 500 quickies on stuff i've already got.:)

The AI would hit me while I was winding up to punch, so it wouldn't work every time. Also, guys like Ali would weave and I'd never connect and get tired. Ali pulverized me.

But, I've worked more body shots in against those guys and gotten better.

I'm definetly going cheap for next time, though. I got Madden 06 just waiting. NHL 2K6, I might actually play a little bit.

hehe here is the trick i used. if your boxer is speedy...switch to judge jab. with judge jab you dont have to cross up. just use the judge jab arm(which ever your dominant arm is) and jab away. it takes so much off and stuns opponents that trading will never be an option for them. the only problem with judge jab is that its weak every else...but by mid way through the first rnd you can get them in to KO state. its the chessiest style in the game imo. ali is the best because three of his judge jabs equals 1 frazier cross....by the time you land 9 jabs you have them almost qtr-half life. hehe yeah im loading on the next challenge also..but what is taking xbox.com so long. it hasnt updated my profile...from 1500 to 2250. what is taking so long.
