Strongly advise those thinking of picking up SOCOM 4 to atleast try out the beta (which nowadays aren't even betas, they're basically the final game in the form of a demo, just being called a "beta").

My advice...be a cheapass and wait a few weeks. The Killzone 3 CE dropped from $129 to $89 shortly after being released and they're still trying unload them:

True, but I'm not sure that the same luck will be had with this package since it contains that sharpshooter peripheral as well as that full Move controller kit.

The game itself isn't bad (best socom game IMO, and far better than mag)

Problem is the motion controls are worthless, like all motion controls are for traditional games.

Kinda funny how motion controls really haven't evolved into anything useful past sports games and fitness games since Xavixport brought motion controls to the home market back in 2004.

There will never be a point where someone will choose to play traditional games with motion controls over a nomal controller. Like 3d, they're just a gimmick.
