Some cool GBAskins

I got a question, the skins are only shown with the platinum...I got the flame SP and don't think a lot of those skins would look good on it. I would not mind getting the classic gameboy skin, but I think it would look tacky...perhaps I need to go get myself a platinum version first.
 
o_O I've had my eye on one of those tila skins for a couple months now.I swear in the purple that's some lip action down THERE.
 
The PS2 style one is off the hook. I had it on my cobalt for a while. It does take a while to get used to the added thickness of the skin.

Right now I'm working on a custom Earthbound themed one. I'm thinking just plain white with a Mr. Saturn clay model on the front and on the back have Mr. Saturn written all iPodish.

be aware that gbamod.com is a one man operation and it takes him awhile to cut and send these skins out. he also doesnt respond to emails at all...mine took around 2 months :evil: ...some said they got theirs in less than a month while others took longer....

they're the best quality skins, but you have to be willing be patient for them...
 
yup, gba mod takes quite a while. i customed some Louis Vuitton skins for the gba sp, it actually looks like leather, i ordered quite a bit if anyone is interested in buying some off of me, pm me.
 
I bought mine off Lik Sang and I don't remember it taking more than a week or so to be delivered. I haven't seen GBA Mod but LS has a good selection of skins.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to come up with a skin pattern like that. No longer than it took me to read this thread I suppose. Is it the standard crappy brown or the colorful/white design?

its actually pretty nice, although vinyl cannot show the texture of leather, but its pretty close, and its taken from a photo, rather than a homebrewed photoshop project. it matched my customed louie seats on my TL very well, i went into the LV store in south coast, and had the "techie" do my seats up with auth. lv leather. i should of asked for some gba covers while i was at it....
 
In Electronic Gaming Monthly (Issue 179/June 2004, p. 25) I read Nintendo is releasing a GBA SP with an NES controller skin June 7th, but only on the inside...I'm guessing the outside is normal? Has anyone seen any inside skins like this before?

its not a skin its a whole new gbasp
 
Just an update. I placed my order with GBAmod.com on 4/20 and just got a notice that my skins are in the mail (5/10). Long turn around time, but I was warned of that.
