Hidden away beneath a stack of other games tucked away in the glass case under the counter of my local Goodwill I found Sonic Adventure 2 for the DC for $4!!! It's missing the instructions and has some very light scratches, but it has it's case and it in pretty decent shape. I've heard it's rare for some reason. Can someone give an estimate of it's value? I'll probably trade it somewhere down the line, but I might as well play it first since it's already used and not depreciating in value any.

It is not really rare or anything. Even sealed copy only cost somewhere between $25 and complete around $20 on ebay. I am gussing you could get $10-15.

I got mine at Blockbuster GameRush a few weeks back... $1, complete, light scratches.
 
It's not rare, but I think it was one of the last games. I personally bought it for $49.99 when it came out and took it back the next day. It bastardizes the "adventure" in the name, it's not an adventure at all. Plagued with bad camera angles and it's stage by stage..
 
I thought it was pretty good. I actually only liked the Sonic/Shadow parts, the rest was just punishment. But I ended getting all 180 emblems to see the remake of Green Hill zone. I thought it was pretty cool.

I really like the game, the only levels I couldnt stand were the knuckles/rouge treasure hunting ones. I also got the green hill remake which was pretty cool actually.
