Sonic DS Games - Stackable Promos at Toys R Us YMMV

Was at Toys R Us in NYC tonight and discovered a $10 off promo on Sonic DS games (Classic Collection and All-Star Racing). Each game received an instant $10 off at the register. Plus through Saturday, June 5, the store is running a Buy One Get One 50% off promo on all DS games.

Sonic DS Classic Collection: $32 retail - $10 = $22
Sonic DS All Star Racing: $30 retail - $15 (BOGO 50%) - $10 =$5

Two games: $27 plus tax.. NOT BAD!

Not sure if the additional $10 off applies to other Sonic games on DS or other platforms - couldn't find any more details on what select items were part of that promotion.

Worked for me at the TRU in Augusta, GA.
I got it and 358/2 Days (They had nothing else I wanted) for about 40 bucks.

I wish I had a TRU near me. I would pick up Sonic Rush Adventure (or whatever it's called) and Classic Collection in a heartbeat.

It looked like other Sonic games were on sale on the Wii, but I got the same games as the OP at Porter Ranch this morning and it worked fine. Strange glitch, but whatever..!

(and Sonic Classics was only $29.99 at my TRU, thankfully...) Didn't really NEED Sonic Classics but $25 for 2 games seemed like a great deal overall..

Just got back from TRU and worked for me too Looked like for DS games, these were the only ones that were on sale. I think I saw the racing one for Wii for $30 if you wanted that instead. But yeah, it was $20 for each one, then buy one get one half off... except off the original price. Haha, so $27.XX out the door for the 2

Thanks for the heads-up OP. Went and got Super Princess Peach, New Super Mario Bros and Sonic Mega Collection and Sonic Racers.

Heres the thing, I did 2 seperate transactions, and paired SPP with one sonic and SMB with the other. I paid $34.99 for SPP/NSMB and just $4.99 for the sonic/sonic racer. It took half off the sonic game down to $14.99 and than took the other $9.99 off leaving it at $4.99. So a total of $89 bucks for 4 ds games for an average of $22.25 for each game with tax. Score!
