Sony HT-DDW900 Home Theater System $198.99 at Wal-Mart

I'm not sure if this is already listed, but Wal-Mart has a very nice 900 Watt Home Theater system (no DVD) with tons of inputs for $198.99. It is the Sony HT-DDW900 model. It has 2 optical and 1 coaxial digtal inputs. It is marked $248.99, but it rings up $198.99. This may be YMMV, but it wasn't on the clearance aisle or otherwise marked. I've been shopping for this system for a while, and the price range is $280-$350 after shipping everywhere else. It has good reviews at Amazon and Circuit City. I purchased mine at the Tuscaloosa, AL Wal-Mart.

While the extra inputs would be awesome, I'm already borderline overpowered with the system I have in my apartment (575w Sony) and I have no real need to upgrade. Hmmm....

I found that Sony receivers malfunction over time. I have had mine a few years and now, the audio inputs for all my components shuffle the sound between the left and right channels randomly. It is really annoying and not the first time I have heard of something like this happening. Optical works fine though.

Sony HTS are very suspect. I'd buy this instead, cheaper & better.
