Sound card fried, onboard audio?

My sound card just completely broke a while ago and I don't want to buy a soundcard. How do I use onboard audio? Is there a way I can put the front analog connecters for the onboard audio, or is it USB only?

Does your mobo have audio output jacks on back? If is does, you should know what to do. If it doesn't, you need a sound card.

Nevermind I figured it out, I took out my broken sound card and found that the motherboard audio inputs were capped by some black jumper or whatever and put the front panel connectors on the motherboard.
