Walmart copies have a problem with Disc #3 Episode 9 (first episode on the disc) as around the 25 min mark the encoding gets screwed up. Just an FYI for people looking to purchase this.

Is the Spartacus BD at Walmart an exclusive? Isn't this release identical to, say...Best Buy's copies?

I would think so.
I searched the web about this and only found 2 people having this problem.
One was jgiovanni on the blu-ray.com forums and said he got it from amazon anyways. WTF?

I did get my copy from Amazon and had the same problem after I checked it a week later. I received a replacement from them and no problem. Looks like the first batch which usually gets sent to Walmart and Amazon had hiccups.

They'll probably shitcan it so they can spend the budget they set aside for it promoting the hell out of Camelot and make as much money as they can before HBO stomps a mudhole in the Starz's ass with Game Of Thrones.
