do you think spiderman 2 will have the WTC in it? i personally hope it does. it's suppose to be mahatten and free roaming so idk what do you guys think....any articles relating to this issue that might answer my question?
 
well...
there are no buildings remaining at the WTC site.

why on earth would they then be the in game?

do you feel it would be more realistic to climb around on something that no longer exists? better to climb around on something in the game that won't even be in the movie?

no.... honestly its a silly question... and a touchy subject.

maybe someone should edit this topic.
 
oh so it's more realistic not to have it in at all? if they were to build manhattan then they should do it right and atleast add ground zero remember this comes from a freakin comic book not real events in our world...wtc did not blow up in the comic books

Actually I'm pretty sure it did...they did a special edition Spiderman comic about the whole tragedy at the very least if I recall.

ok so it happened but did it happen during the events of Doctor Octupus? or the green goblin? (not trying to be sarcastic it's an actual question)
 
To be honest I don't completely remember (I didn't buy the commeritive issue, only read it, and that was some time ago), but both are recurring villians (in g. goblins' case multiple ones) so you can't establish a timeline and such. Yet I'm pretty sure that it happened just as in real life, that is to say I don't think any of the comic book villians were involved.
 
ok i'm sorry i just thought that it would be nice to have a building that meant alot to us in a game cause spiderman does symbolize justice and protection and i apologize for anyone who was offended. i'll make sure not to post a touchy topic in the future.

That would be a good comparison but the movies don't follow the original stories in the comic books at all. They pick certain familiar storylines and adapt them for the movie. Remember Mary Jane being thrown from the bridge in the first one. That was supposed to be Gwen Stacy that is thrown from the bridge by Green Goblin and she dies in the fall also.
 
Metal Gear Solid 2 removed that part from the game, not to mention the first Spiderman movie teaser trailer being taken down. My bet is no.
 
Wouldn't that be horribly goofy now days though. It's like Captain America fighting Nazis and communists ...appropiate for its time perhaps, but they seem lame and corny compared to where comics are now.
 
I'm sure there will be no mention or anything of the WTC's in the game, if there was, the makers would have to be insane!!!

Well, the game/movie takes place in recent New York, so I'm going to assume no. If they did, it would just be out of place. Nothing wrong w/ remembering them, just out of place w/ the timing of the game and movie
