Spoilers, Embedded Videos, and Missing Text

Oh my!

Right. Ran in to a problem with this post. Second spoiler tag has a video in it. I tried to get the video to start at 4:28, but I guess that doesn't work on embedded videos (that I can see). So I tried to edit in the words "Aw, the embedded video doesn't jump to the right point. It's supposed to go to 4:28..." but they just disappear. If I put them outside the spoiler tags, they show up. If I go in to edit mode, they are still plainly there. But looking at the post itself, they just straight-out vanish.

What's the deal?

I'm no John, but seems as though the text gets sucked into the video. Probably a result of the WYSIWYG editor.

I tried quoting your post, removing the

tags, and previewing and it worked fine.
Try doing that, copying that, then editing your post, removing everything, and pasting to see if it works.
You could also try editing it in plain text mode. (top-right most button looks like "A/A") to see if you can see where tags are getting messed up.

Side note... I was trying to edit in plain text mode, having nothing but

tags, but when I previewed, somehow it sucked my signature into the spoiler tags as well. :lol:

EDIT: Uh... just so ya know, it always looks "correct" in previews (and youtube links aren't auto-embeded). It's when actually posting that it gets jiggered. However, putting around the youtube video made it work, which... eh, fuck it. Functional is good enough for me.
