CAGiversary!
is it boring or is it me. i just picked up. i think it is boring becuase you cant fight. chose a weapon press a and your done. is there another way to play or is it like that the whole time

Are you stupid or is it just me? I just read another of your posts. I think you're stupid because everyone know's you are a scammer and poypoy, yet you continue to post. Can you ever really contribute, or will you always be like this?

it gets alot better once u get light sabers and upgrade ur spells, there's some strategy involved when fighting to like enemy to target first, what guy u want to target them with, and what spell to use. so keep playing, its a very enjoyable experience EDIT: (dammit i didnt know it was poy poy)

Got a little thing for this PoyPoy fella, do you?

The most annoying thing is, is that he usually only posts once whether he made the topic or not and it makes it towhere we can't make him angry. I really want him to reply, that way a big fight can get started and Cheapy will ban his ass. Sadly he's just too smart for me. :(

It gets good when you get at least into the sewers on the first planet. KOTOR was one of the most shockingly awesome games I've played.

If you are looking for a battle system like, say Ninja Gaiden, you're out of luck. The system stays generally the way you have seen it in the beginning of the game, save for the fact that you get Force Powers and such later on. Otherwise there isn't any "action/adventure" type fighting in it.

I have to admit I found KotoR to be a very boring RPGs and very disapointing. Their was almost a total lack of character development and their was no emotion among the characters. The story was very disappointing and very weak. Infact I was joking with friends on what the ending would be, only to find out that I was right. =/

The fighting system was very cool and most of the voice acting was well done. Also the models were well done.

I will admit that its one of the better StarWars games out there But it's only a so-so RPG.

The game felt like a off-line version of Star Wars Galaxies.

I really wasn't that impressed with it either. Played for about 5-6 hours and gave it back to a friend. I never thought it lived up to all the hype I had read or heard about it.
I want to give it a second chance though...

I hate when people who don't know what "character development" is try to complain about a lack of it.

I was just going to comment on the "Lack of character development" remark. My god, what do you call the constant talking between members of your party, discussing problems, revealing emotions and their past? I thought all of this would be classified under character development seeing how you gain insight into the characters and the characters change and do not remain static throughout the game.

I didn't say compleat lack, I just said lack of character development. The game had about as much character development as a MMORPG. If you guys think that game had good character development then you don't play many good games with character development in them.
I good RPG should get it so you actually care about the character and develop a really good history for each character. This game just gave you the bare min. I didn't care about any of the chracters. and I could have cared less if any of them died.

You want to see good character development go play FFX, hell any of the Final Fantasy games. you get so connected with the character when one dies you truely feel sad about it.

I see, I am not big on rpg's but I thought KOTOR had decent character development out of the rpg's that I have played. Like you said, however, I'm sure if I played more rpg's I would have a better idea of strong character development.

Well that's YOUR problem then, not the game's. I thought it did a wonderful job of making me care about the characters and it explained all of their backgrounds beautifully. Even a "weaker" member of your group like Mission had her background extensively explained and even had specific side missions FOR her character.

Not every game is Final fucking Fantasy. I'm so sick of an RPG not being good if it's not Final Fantasy. I seriously wish they'd just destroy that series already so I'd never have to hear about it again.

Yeah, I like FF games generally, but I'm not nutty enough to claim they have awesome characterization. KOTOR was certainly better in that department than any recent FF game, I say.

FFX had character development but it was poor in my opinion. I didnt relate or care about any of the characters at the end, and i didnt really enjoy the experience of playing the game to the end. It seemed like all the characters were whiny and overdramatic. I think the best part was the ending theme music. KOTOR on the other hand i loved. I liked how the characters interacted and everyone had something to say to someone at some point, and you got to choose how specific the backgrounds got, yeah some were boring but some were cool, I liked making Carth and Bastilla fight with the dark side characters and i liked making Jolee Bindo tell me im not a good jedi lol.

Catacasa, that avatar is very well done, but completely disgusting, yet I can't look away. It's like a circus freakshow. Please change it, it's giving me shivers!
