Starblazers DVD question?

Does anyone know anything about the Starblazers boxsets and what to get. The prices are pretty high and can't be found easily. Will there be a new set soon?

I've been thinking about picking them up myself. Ebay's too expensive, but if you have any FYE store credit left (after last thursday)...the first set is in stock on their website.

Although I only remember the second series, "The Comet Empire" from my childhood (I missed the school bus on many occasions due to that friggin show), I have very fond memories of the show.

Be forewarned, though, the 5 episodes on each dvd are edited together into a 'mini movie' of sorts...as the braintrust behind the dvd mastering decided to remove the original openings and closings.

There's also the fact they decided to realese it Dub only. You should be able to get the HK version(and no editing or censoring) for around 70 for the entire series. No Solid reports on how good of subs though. Or you could just wait and maybe in a couple years or decades a good company will pick it up and translate it right.
